Dar Luna shows up for the first time in Essaouira records beginning of the 19th.century as the house of the Pacha. Together with the current 'Cooperative artisanal' just in front and the hotel L’Heure Bleu, it was part of the fortification around 'Bab Maraksch', the route to Marrakech. Apparently its history goes further back and it is told that the house was build by a Jewish family. Indeed, when we restored the house in 2007-2008, we discovered the original structures of the house pointing out into that direction.

The décor welcoming you in the lobby and throughout is hip, vibrant, and infused with latest technology. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with brightly decorated walls or more subtly styled rooms.

We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our guests and making them feel at home from the instant they step through our doors. We will do our best to accommodate your needs in any way possible.

Our ‘Dar’ (house) offers the perfect combination between two lifestyles, two cultures. In terms of technology and quality of equipments, all is there to make you feel at home.

The very convenient location in the heart of historic downtown and the total atmosphere of our house will surround you with Arabic phantasy & mystique. We offer our guests exceptional, personalized service. We hope that a stay with us will evoke both luxury and style and leave you wanting to return soon.
